Bright Spring Morning

The time is right to begin
Lets get going once again
For once in your life just let go

I'm getting sick of everything
Tired of what the next day brings
What I need is for you to follow my lead

The sun is shinning bright outside
I think I'll go for a ride
I plan not to ever return

Lets run away from here for good
Forget this dusty neighborhood
The open road is calling and begging for us

Go roll down the window
Go crank up that radio
Lets drive until we hit the sky
It's not about where we will go
Lets start living life before we die

If you want you can stay
But you'll regret the day
That you didn't follow your dreams

Imagine the wind in your hair
Blowing away all of your cares
So take my hand lets plan never to look back

The sun is shinning bright outside
I think I'll go for a ride
I plan not to ever return

Lets run away from here for good
Forget this dusty neighborhood
The open road is calling and begging for us

Go roll down the window
Go crank up that radio
Lets drive until we hit the sky
It's not about where we will go
Lets start living life before we die

True, it's all in my dreams
Yeah
You are all in my dreams
Yeah
What I need is a long holiday
What I need is to get away
From here for good tonight
Lets fly away tonight
On this bright spring morning
Send our spirits soaring
Now is the time

Go roll down the window
Go crank up that radio
Lets drive until we hit the sky
It's not about where we will go
Lets start living life before we die

Summer school is over. At least the first 6 week course. I'm planning on taking one more. Hopefully I will get an A in the class.

Work has been kinda crappy. It's just really boring and they give me such few hours. Plus they pair me with the worst workers. This only pushes me harder to finish school so I don't end up at a place like this the rest of my life.

Things have been going pretty nicely with Elizabeth. I don't think I could ask for more from her. I really do love her.

Lori contacted me a couple of weeks ago and we've been having conversations since then. Randomly online or sometimes over the phone. It's been sporadic at best mostly due to the fact that Joel, her husband, forbids her from speaking to me. I'm trouble apparently, I can't blame him though. If I were him, I'd be afraid of me too. Not cause I would steal Lori back, but because he knows a chunk of her heart is still devoted to me. Joel left for the weekend to visit a friend and left Lori here. We met up yesterday and just spent the day together talking. We had lunch and went to the pool. It was interesting. It's been 3.5 years since we broke up and during all the time, we've spoken only a handful of times and maybe of those 5 times only 2 have been over 20 mins. So for us to have pretty much an entire day to talk was odd. We caught up on what we've each been up too, old stories and experiences we've had from the past few years and what we're up to now. I had to go to work at night but we met up after work and were out till 5am talking. It's strange how someone who meant so much to you at one point could just walk out of your life and then reconnecting with that person. If anything it made me appreciate Elizabeth even more. So it was an interesting to say the least. She's kept her self in good condition, she dropped 30 lbs and looks like she did in high school but more mature. Who knows, maybe after some more time passes, Joel will lighten up and we can be real friends.

My music tastes have continued to evolve and I've been listening to a lot of Ska and DJ Scratching / Electronic music. Here are a few vids I found of a couple of Scratch Legends. Namely Mix Master Mike and DJ Qbert:

Interesting fact I found was that the 2 greatest DJ's both have Filipino blood in them. Here's a video of the next generation of turntablists, these 2 kids are 8 and 5 years old:
